FL FFA Alumni Sponsored Awards and Recognition
Williston FFA Alumni & Supporters
A new and innovative event that Williston Alumni did was to schedule a “Scholarship Day” to promote scholarships and to target those students who were thinking about going into Ag Ed. This was a day long event, and was very successful. The Williston Alumni Chapter gives several scholarships each year. To fund them as well as other ongoing projects, the Chapter conducted a clay shoot which netted over $17,000.00. In addition they sponsored a night at Culvers in Gainesville that exceeded expectations of participation by members, and netted more than was anticipated.
